*Provide high-stakes counsel to company executives and other senior leaders navigating contractual terms, providing risk assessments and recommendations, and negotiating and closing agreements with third parties. *Serve as the lead attorney on research and government contracting matters, collaborating closely with, and mentoring legal department personnel on the drafting, review, and negotiation of term sheets and agreements, supporting early-stage discovery, late-stage research, development, strategic government collaborations, in-bound and out-bound license agreements, joint ventures, sponsored research agreements, and strategic transactions. *Collaborate closely with corporate functions, and the research, government affairs, IP, and compliance organizations to manage and support their material day-to-day business needs across the risk spectrum (e.g., serving as a legal business partner and escalation point for contracting issues and advising on a wide variety of legal matters).
