*Working with department colleagues in company to establish best in class legal processes and procedures to assure business objectives are met and legal risks are identified and mitigated. *Providing comprehensive legal services to one or more Group business units in the areas of post-merger integration; commercial contract negotiation; and regulatory compliance (e.g. FMC, DOT and customs brokerage compliance). *Reviewing and negotiating legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example inter-company loans, leases, vendor agreements,) to protect the organization’s legal and business interests.
