*provide legal services to the Payor Relations and Contracting Department, which will include: monitoring and advising on laws related to billing and reimbursement; and analyzing, negotiating, preparing, and enforcing managed care contracts (including payor appeals). *provide and coordinate legal services for the health system on a variety of legal issues and matters including: health care laws; physician-hospital agreements; mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; independent contractor agreements; general employment agreements and issues; purchase contracts; real estate; legal research; and compliance issues. *reports to the Chief Legal Officer of the system and will collaborate with peers to support company’s healing ministry.
