*Reporting to the Research Officer in the Director role, directs the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (IPTT), assisting with the identifying and protecting of intellectual property generated by the University, facilitating transfer of intellectual property, providing assistance and counsel to the University community on intellectual property and commercialization matters, working closely with the Intellectual Property Committee, and supporting collaborations within the University and with private-sector partners. *Reporting to the General Counsel in the Associate General Counsel role, negotiates and drafts patent and copyright licensing and other intellectual property agreements, manages and evaluates patents with faculty/staff, manages outside patent counsel, provides other intellectual property (copyright and trademark) legal counsel to the University community, and works on other intellectual property projects as assigned. $81,162.00 – $108,351.00
