*Assists in counseling all levels of management and managing staff attorneys as to diverse legal issues relative to substantive governmental and operational areas as well as matters associated with minimizing legal and financial exposure of the Tribal government and its business enterprises, including in the areas of finance, direct and indirect investments, taxation, contracting and other procurement-related activities, information technology, corporate development, and intellectual property matters, and including through effective and cost-efficient selection and oversight of outside counsel as applicable. *Oversees the negotiation, drafting and interpretation of documents related to complex and daily operational transactional matters, while collaborating regularly with company’s department leaders to assess, select, and provide appropriate legal resources needed to support such matters.
