The General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer oversees the corporate compliance program and legal matters for the organization and the coordination and management of outside counsel.  As a member of the executive management team, they also function as the organization’s HIPAA Privacy Officer and independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns, ensuring that company is compliant with federal and state statutes and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations and the Department of Defense/TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) rules and regulations.
