The General Counsel will provide advice and counsel to all levels of the organization on a wide variety or legal and strategic commercial matters, including food safety and labeling matters, brand and nutritional claims, supplier arrangements, commercial contracts, consumer data privacy laws, advertising laws, real estate leasing and related matters, intellectual property matters, labor and employment laws, litigation, e-discovery, document retention policies and corporation governance matters. The General Counsel will lead strategic and tactical legal initiatives, advise the company and executive team on legal issues and implications, manage and oversee outside corporate counsel and lead complex business transactions.
