*Provide clear, concise and correct written and oral legal advice and counsel as needed to the Sheriff and executive and department management staff on all areas of law and liability applicable to the operation of the Sheriff’s Office; *Evaluate the applicability of settled areas of the law to emerging and unsettled areas, and make recommendations as to legal and practical implications of alternative courses of action. *Monitor applicable state and federal laws, decisional law from other jurisdictions, and industry publications along with identifying emerging issues to discuss with the Sheriff, and executive and department management staff; 140,000.00 – 165,000.00
