*Reporting to the President and CEO, the SVP and General Counsel will serve as the Association’s head of policy by guiding the organization’s engagement on public policy matters that align with the Association’s values, mission, and strategic objections through application of consistent decision-making frameworks and engagement of key stakeholders. *Lead a team of public policy professionals to develop and implement strategic initiatives related to media publishers’ interests on matters such as privacy, AI, advertising compliance, environmental regulations, free press, and other matters with federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory bodies. *Manage outside counsel, consultants, and lobbyists to implement strategies or initiatives.
