The Legal Counsel will be responsible for drafting and negotiating development, production and distribution agreements and rendering legal advice with respect to Rebel Way Entertainment's slate of original programming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drafting and negotiating development, production and distribution agreements and related documentation
Rendering day to day production legal advice to production executives, producers and production personnel
Required Skills:
Active member of the California bar
Two to four years of legal experience gained in an entertainment law firm, television network and/or television production company environment
Knowledge of television precedents and industry custom and practice
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, responsible, extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Rebel Way Entertainment is an independent film production company and financier that works closely with filmmakers to develop, produce and finance feature films. Founded by Ori Globus with the objective to create films with a new age vision. Academy award nominated producer Yoram Globus was brought into the fold to supplement this new age vision with years of experience, having produced over 350 films.
