| The Senior Associate General Counsel – Business/Finance/Transactional provides legal advice and services to senior leadership and affiliated entities on complex business matters, including governance, finance, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, securities law (including venture capital and private equity financings), and review of general business operations. The role advises department heads and administrators as needed, drafts and reviews contracts and other legal instruments, conducts and supervises legal research, and leads special projects. It also involves participation in training seminars and workshops for the broader organization. The position operates under the general supervision of the Deputy General Counsel and Senior Associate Vice President. Senior Associate General Counsel Location: Columbus, OH Job Type: Full time Required Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.), graduate from an accredited law school and be a member of the Ohio bar or eligible to practice law in the State of Ohio within one year or less. Must have approval of the Ohio Attorney General's Office prior to hire. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a law firm or corporation with a focus on sophisticated business and commercial transactions.
