| iHeartMedia has an opening for a seasoned anchor/reporter on multiple stations (including KTRH) in Houston and other markets. Employee will also perform in-house reporting duties, produce content for national wire service and perform general newsroom assignments Candidates should have high standards for audio quality, strong on-air presentation skills and the ability to write radio broadcast style copy. News Writer / Anchor Full-Time Job Request No.: Req33326 Business: iHeartMedia Location: Houston, TX: 1233 West Loop South, Bldg 1, Suite 725, 77027 What You'll Do: Responsibilities: Anchor newscasts for multiple markets. Write clear, concise news copy. Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire. Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations. Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the following shift. May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed. What You'll Need: Qualifications: Extensive "on-air" background - this is not a position for beginners.
