Job Description Project Attorney - Virtual Are you a detail-oriented and motivated attorney looking for an opportunity to showcase your legal expertise while pursuing a potential career advancement? Join our team at UnitedLex as a Project Attorney, with the possibility of promotion to a Full-Time Staff Attorney position. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22-32 per hour, depending on project and review experience, and an exciting pathway to grow within our dynamic legal services team. Prior document review experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide state-of-the-art training for all new hires. UnitedLex is unique in that 99% of our full-time managers are hired from within the project attorney pool. We offer promising career advancement, because we know our project attorneys are our most valuable resource. Standard hours of operation are 7am-7pm in your local time zone with core business hours of 10am-3pm. You are flexible to create your own schedule within the hours of operation, provided you actively communicate with your review manager. We offer overtime opportunities on select projects paid at time and a half. Utilize analytical skills and legal knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols and guidelines. Collaborate seamlessly with other legal professionals, such as attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support teams, to achieve project objectives. Organize and manage reviewed documents using efficient document management systems. Perform targeted legal research to support case development and strategy. Adhere strictly to client confidentiality and data protection regulations, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards. Consistent with the UnitedLex ISMS policy and the ISO 27001 standard, every employee is responsible for complying with UnitedLex information security policies and reporting all security concerns, weaknesses and breaches Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school Active and in good standing with the Bar Association in your relevant jurisdiction Home computer with “broadband” internet connection Understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures Proficiency in legal research, utilizing relevant databases and resources Excellent attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and document review software (e.g., Relativity, Reveal, Logikcull, etc.) Familiarity with MS Office Suite, particularly Teams, Word, and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience or demonstrated understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively About Us UnitedLex is a data and professional services company delivering outcomes that create value and competitive advantage for legal and the business. Salary Range The salary range for this role reflects the range of factors that inform case-by-case compensation decisions including education, experience, training, licensure, certification, and geography as well as the business and organizational needs specific to the role. Compensation ranges may be broad, reflecting flexibility within the budget and title to consider candidates of varied experience. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is $22/hr to $31/hr.
