| This is a senior-level position requiring the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with professionals and departments across the organization under the guidance of senior legal leadership. The role involves leading projects with minimal supervision, overseeing paralegals and junior attorneys as assigned, and demonstrating a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and follow strategic direction from executive legal leaders. Associate General Counsel 65836 Location: Camden, NJ Job Type: Full time Experience Required: Six or more years’ experience as an attorney. Health law education and/or experience at a law firm, for the government, or another health system preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the law and related terminology. Written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal/human relation skills. Research and report preparation skills. Legal analysis and argument skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. A demonstrated ability to systematically: Research a variety of statutes, regulations, case law and other legal authorities. Professionally and thoroughly investigate various types of factual situations. Apply relevant legal authorities to a given factual situation. Develop sound and practical legal conclusions about a client’s obligations or opportunities in a given factual situation. Present those conclusions to other attorneys, and as requested to managers or other client representatives in an organized, systematic and professional manner. A demonstrated ability and desire to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment A demonstrated proficiency in modern legal office skills, including the use of Microsoft Office products, the Internet, Westlaw and e-mail. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor required. License/Certification Requirements Must possess a valid NJ driver’s license. Active bar admission in good standing and eligible for New Jersey licensure. Admission to the New Jersey Bar required within one year of employment. Hourly Rate Min $72 Hourly Rate Max $120 The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
