GNYHA’s advocacy takes many forms, from representing our members’ interest at the Federal and State governments to working alongside them to improve quality and patient safety.

Work cross-functionally with colleagues on a broad and diverse set of issues
Provide project management support, including obtaining and organizing information from members and other sources, managing the logistics of convening members and subject matter experts, and maintaining meeting notes and follow-up items

Strong understanding of the health care regulatory framework
Demonstrated ability to analyze regulations and government guidance
Superior writing and oral communication skills
Ability to creatively solve problems and build relationships with GNYHA members, government agency officials, and outside organizations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, member service organization
Proficiency with OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
