\nResponsibilities\tRole Purpose
\nThe Counsel, Legal Affairs, will draft and negotiate contracts for NBCUniversal\u2019s cable television entertainment studios and networks, including license agreements, production services and co-production agreements, talent agreements, development agreements, brand integration agreements, marketing\/promotional agreements, digital rights agreements, and similar documents. The position will also be responsible for production legal functions. <\/p>\n

Responsibilities
\nDraft, review, negotiate and interpret contracts and other documentation.
\nProvide timely and thoughtful legal advice on potential risks and issues, and propose practical, responsive solutions, with a focus on true crime programming.
\nPartner with NBCU business executives to discuss and implement best practices and formulate new processes in connection with business needs.
\nCreate and update forms.
\nWork with the Legal Affairs team on major projects with long-term business implications.
\nOther matters at the direction of the SVP of Legal Affairs.
\nQualifications\/Requirements\tBasic Qualifications
\nMember of New York or California bar.
\nA minimum of four years of entertainment, intellectual property, privacy, defamation, and\/or other relevant subject matter expertise, with specific experience vetting true crime programming. <\/p>\n
