\nOverall Job Purpose
\nThe General Counsel is responsible of providing legal advice and support to legal issues to the management of the Great Hall and providing the decision-making process with an updated and solid information base.<\/p>\n
Primary Focus of the Role<\/p>\n
Analyze, monitor and identify legal risks and implications during the different phases of the project, from initial construction phase and during the concession phase. Preparation of relevant reports and any documentation relevant to the commercial and construction areas.<\/p>\n
Specific Responsibilities
\n\u2022Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and the rest of the management to articulate, advise and approve strategic issues and decisions in his area of responsibility, keeping him updated of the progress of the project.
\n\u2022Responsible to manage all the legal process, litigations and business transactions of the Great Hall, advising on disputes relating to contracts.
\n\u2022Responsible to draft, review, develop and produce standard form contracts, precedents and guidance on contractual matters.
\n\u2022Ensure all retail contracts meet legislative and legal requirements
\n\u2022Ensure all the legal entities and businesses comply with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.
\n\u2022Identifying risks and opportunities in commercial agreements and pro-actively finding ways to mitigate or remove risks.
\n\u2022Liaise and support the ACDBE Liaison, giving the necessary legal advice.
\n\u2022Manage the relationship with external legal counsel and\/or specialists, acting as the single point of contact at senior level for all the legal issues.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience
\n\u2022Considerable experience at senior level in a law firm or a corporate lawyer role.
\n\u2022Experience in US and Colorado laws.
\n\u2022Degree level education or equivalent desirable.
\n\u2022Strong organizational and management skills.
\n\u2022Accuracy in work product.
\n\u2022Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
\n\u2022Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.<\/p>\n
